ETC-1607-1 - Trench Chain
Excavator
The excavator is reliable, high capacity and manoeuvrable machine
for digging out of right-angled trench in a wide range of ground,
cutting of road asphalt, hard and frozen ground during laying and
repairing of cable- and pipe-lines of any purpose in road-works as
well as for filling and covering of trench and grading.
ETC-1607-1
means:
· universal bulldozer;
· high capacity;
· different trench width;
· high pass- and manoeuvrability;
· smooth regulation of cutting speed;
· ability to work in frozen and hard ground, including asphalt;
· comfortable operator compartment with ventilation and heating;
· 4-speed working chain gear with reverse movement.

ETC-1607-1 is a trench chain excavator based on 'Belarus' MTZ-800/900
tractor, and is a modification of earlier models of the machine:
ETC-165 and ETC-165A.
The excavator frame allows to attach
changeable equipment for cutting of frozen, asphalt and rock ground.
This allows to use the excavator in any season and in any place
where other machines cannot work.
The excavator can move and work on
10° surface and cross fall of 5°. Trench width depends on changeable
cutting chain. The chain is up and down with hydraulic cylinder.
Waste screw conveyer puts spoil bank on both sides of the trench.
The trench bottom is cleaned with
a cleaning device. The excavator is equipped with an universal bulldozer
allowing to fill the trench by one along-trench bypass.
(by order - Front Loader 1607-650). Hydraulic
reducing gear box gives smooth speed change depending on ground
condition and a kind of trench.
High passability and effective operation
in town and country environment are provided by positive-locking
differential and driving fore axle. The excavator is very reliable
and easy to operate. Different equipment is installed upon customer's
request.

surface, frozen and soft-rock ground. The chain has changeable carbide-tipped
cutting tools. Can be effectively used in laying out and repairing

Designed for ETC-165A and ETC-1607 excavators, and significantly
expand machines' capacity in cutting and digging trench in frozen
and hard ground (including asphalt and soft-rock). The chain has changeable
carbide-tipped cutting tools.

Asphalt cutter 3401-010000.000
The cutter is designated for cutting asphalt road cover, frozen
and hard ground.
Two cuts are made simultaneously (Full size preview).
The cutter successfully used in laying out and repairing of cable-
and pipe-lines. Preserved ballast basement allows the asphalt surface
recovery afterward.
